Suboxone is a medication that combines buprenorphine with the opiate antagonist known as naloxone. Naloxone attaches to the brain’s opioid receptors, but it doesn’t activate them at all. Instead, it entirely blocks opioids from attaching to the receptors and creating any euphoric feelings.

Treatment plans can include medication and/or step-down guided therapy where you can go at their own pace, removing a cigarette/pack/week (or more), reducing the nicotine concentration in their vapes or stretching the amount of tobacco used when dipping, etc.
