Our goal is to provide the individualized care you need to reclaim control of your life.

Our Medication Treatment Services in Louisville

At AppleGate Recovery Louisville, we offer a range of evidence-based services to support your recovery, including:

    Suboxone Treatment

Using a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone, this medication helps reduce withdrawal symptoms and opioid cravings, allowing you to focus on your recovery.

    Brixadi Treatment

A long-acting injectable form of buprenorphine, administered weekly or monthly, to provide consistent support in your recovery.

    Sublocade Treatment

Another extended-release injectable buprenorphine option, offering month-long relief to help prevent opioid use.

    Vivitrol Treatment

This monthly injection blocks opioid receptors and reduces cravings, making it an effective option for individuals committed to long-term recovery.

    Psychiatric Medication Management

We provide integrated mental health care, ensuring that any co-occurring conditions are addressed with a balanced approach of medication management and counseling.

    Hepatitis C Treatment

We provide Hepatitis C treatment with Epclusa for eligible patients. Treatment starts once our provider completes an evaluation to confirm it’s safe and suitable for the individual.

    Counseling Services

In addition to medication-assisted treatment, we encourage patients to engage in substance use counseling through our trusted providers. Options include:

    • Individual Counseling: Address past trauma, learn relapse prevention strategies, set personal recovery goals, and develop a strong support network.
    • Group Counseling Referrals: For added support, patients may benefit from group counseling, where they can connect with others in recovery, share experiences, and learn additional coping strategies. The patient’s case manager can assist with referrals to trusted group counseling providers to ensure the best fit for each individual’s needs.

Counseling sessions that use a support group format are a tremendously effective part of a comprehensive MAT program. Friends, family, and clinic staff all play their roles in helping you through treatment and recovery, but people who are going through a similar journey and have experienced the realities of addiction first-hand can provide indispensable insight as well. When you share your feelings with people who can empathize with you, it can bring a comforting sense of relief and belonging after previously feeling alienated by addiction. Other benefits of group sessions include:

    • Sharing experiences with other group members to help find solutions, learn new tools or strategies, and problem-solve together.
    • Reduced feelings of guilt and shame when you communicate and share similar feelings, knowing you’re not alone.
    • Supporting each other and holding others accountable for their individual and group treatment goals.
    • Creating lasting friendships that serve as a support network for those who may not have many loved ones or friends by their side.

If you’re interested in joining a group session, please let any staff member know, we are here to support you every step of the way.

I NEVER, EVER give reviews but this is close to my heart and my overall well-being! I don't want people to hesitate with Applegate and just go ahead and make an appointment! Applegate has not only been a life-saver for me but for many others. Every single staff member is amazing, friendly, and helpful. They all make me feel so safe and at home, which is so important for me, especially when dealing with such sensitive matters as addiction. The other amazing thing is they take Medicaid! You won't believe the incredible service and kindness that they give for being a Medicaid medical operating office! They have been so involved in my recovery and I've overcome obstacles that I've been struggling with for over a decade. And I've only been a patient for about 6 months. It's been so fantastic to feel like I matter! I've been in Suboxone recovery for 15 yrs and this is the 1st time that I am accomplishing important life matters because they’re so invested in helping me achieve them. If you are ready and willing to get sober and do your part, you cannot go wrong with Applegate, you just can't!! So again please do not hesitate and give them a call. I forgot to also mention how easy it is 2 set up an appointment. It literally only took about a 10-minute phone call. You won't regret it!!

Applegate has changed my life, the support, the positivity, the commitment to their patients is a breath of fresh air. They help keep me on track with my sobriety. No judgements here, I've tried many different recovery paths during my life in Kentucky and none can compare to Applegate, Big Thanks to all the staff who support me during my journey🙌🫶

This office is AMAZING! The staff are kind and helpful. The counselors are understanding and concerned for their patients. The doctors take the time to learn each patients history to make an informed decision about an individuals care. Not everyone’s story is the same when it comes to opiate misuse/addiction. The staff works with you and everyone in this office actually wants you to succeed. They really push for you to have the life you deserve. If anyone has ever struggled with addiction, you know how judgmental people can be towards you or how people shoot you down from the get go. Applegate is not like that.

Life is hard. Addiction is harder. Thank God the people at Applegate actually strive to give you the best future possible. It is hard to go backwards with people like them pushing you forward.

Every single person here is amazing. I drive almost 2 hours to come here and have for a long time, even though there are multiple other doc's local to me. My original Doc retired, but my new Dr is also freaking awesome. The office staff know me, they are super nice and awesome, I really like my counselor as well -he is great! There is literally nothing to not love about this office!
